Abstract

We have developed the ESS(Energy Storage System) especially for the purpose of distribution network management such as feeder load management, active voltage control and power supply in the event of outages. The ESS is a compact and outdoor type with forced air cooling system so that it is easy to install near customer area and re-locate to another place with respect to network conditons. This paper introduces demonstration results of energy storage system intalled in real distribution network.
