Abstract
A
study in order to evaluate the possible damages induced by fault localisation
activities on adjacent telecommunication cables was conducted. On the one hand,
the induced voltage and current were measured on a dedicated test set-up and a
model was built. On the other hand, thermal measurements were performed. From
the study, it appears that no damage is expected in the vicinity of MV cables
due to fault localization activities.
