Abstract
The digitalization of the electrical sector is a profound transformation in which technology and innovation are changing the traditional models. In this transformation, Smart Secondary Substations play a significant role since they are the Medium Voltage (MV) nodes and the connecting points with the Low Voltage (LV) electrical network. The digitalization of these nodes allows the development of innovative solutions for predictive maintenance and life extension of the assets.
