Abstract
This paper will provide input on the relevance and boundaries of innovation cooperation in the Smart Grid and its influence on the energy
transition. The theory of boundary objects will be used as a main approach for
decoding the way of cooperation between Smart Grid actors. The objective is to
offer a better understanding of the transferring and integrating of external
knowledge from heterogeneous actors in order to develop new innovation in the
energy sector.
