dc.description.abstractAround the world, distributed energy resource modelling practices are evolving to meet the needs of rapidly growing DER penetrations. In North America, efforts are focused on improved and consistent steady-state and dynamic DER modelling. This paper describes a flexible DER modelling framework and recent developments in DER dynamic modelling. DER system impact studies in California using this modelling framework are also described.
