Abstract
Around the world, distributed energy resource modelling practices are evolving to meet the needs of rapidly growing DER penetrations. In North America, efforts are focused on improved and consistent steady-state and dynamic DER modelling. This paper describes a flexible DER modelling framework and recent developments in DER dynamic modelling. DER system impact studies in California using this modelling framework are also described.Publisher
