Abstract
In most Countries all over the world the quality of servicedelivered by Distribution Companies to final customers ismeasured through SAIDI (System Average Duration ofInterruption Index). Enel Global Infrastructures andNetworks currently operates 11 Distribution Companies(DisCos) in 8 Countries, in Europe and South America,serving around 72 million customers.The diversity of structure, technology, organization,history of each network rises the issue of setting a globaland unique strategy for undertaking specific actions atlocal level to improve the continuity of supply to finalcustomers.The document, addressed to DisCos and Regulators,intents to show an effective and robust method ofdisaggregation of the SAIDI indicator in a spectrum ofcontrol dimensions covering all the aspects of networkmanagement, from Capital Allocation to Operations.Publisher
