dc.description.abstractThe paper deals with the issue of using assets forsupporting network operations, without being in conflictwith business actors. It is presented a novel businessframework in which the distribution system operator,playing the role of market facilitator, operates its ownenergy assets (including energy storage) in a pro-activeway, using them to support the distribution resources inparticipating to the ancillary services markets.
