Abstract
This paper describes an Augmented Reality project, which was implemented to evaluate the usefulness of this emerging technology in the context of switching operations. Data system prerequisites are described as well as functionalities of the AR application. The project demonstrated that there are considerable potential benefits with regard to improving efficiency of work processes and occupational safety, but also showed some existing limitations of the technology such as trade-offs in user comfort and current technical restrictions.Publisher
