    Abstract
This paper discusses harmonics in low-voltage networks in the context of the increasing amounts of PV connected to such networks. A general overview is given of emission from PV inverters. Emission at “classical harmonics” is lower than for other low-voltage installations but higher at “non-classical harmonics”. Preliminary results are shown for a measurement campaign mapping the margin available before harmonic limits are reached. It is further shown that more than a certain fraction of customers with PV will reduce the resonant frequency of the low-voltage grid. The paper concludes with a discussion on how to approach the harmonic issue at low voltage with PV.
